Iron Man

Here's another superhero movie, from the web-crawler, to the green giant, to the burning skull.. here's the iron man. Yes, the Iron Man movie starring Robert Downey Jr, is coming to theaters. And in some areas, it is now showing. But I haven't watched the movie yet, and I'm not quite interested in superhero movies such as this, like superheroes who build their own stuff, or armors and devices, and save the world from evil and chaos. I am more interested to those superhero who are being made naturally (sorry for Iron Man fans and the like). But this is just an opinion, since it's a new movie, i'll be watching it, and if it's good, then maybe my mind will change, and i'll be liking self-made superheroes. (hehe)

Phantom of the Opera

I've just finished watching the Phantom of the Opera, a 2004 film. The reason I watched this film is that I was wondering if its really Gerard Butler (starred as Spartan King Leonidas in the movie "300") who played Phantom in this movie. Can he sing? Yes! He can! Actually, he's a good singer, and he's got talent. Maybe it's too late to say these stuff since the Phantom of the Opera was way back in 2004, so probably a lot of people already noticed that its Gerard Butler. But again, I'm just sharing my (so late) reaction.

The movie is based on a classical act, and it was filled with music, singing and dancing. Although some scenes were quite annoying (because they sing their dialogues even it's not needed anymore), for me, the whole movie was great and the actors and actresses where really good in singing.

Upcoming Movie Sequels

Being a movie-goer, I have watched a lot of movies, and most of them are sequels. Other sequels are not as good as the first one, however, they're still to watch out for since they provide answers to hanging questions at the end of the first, the second.. and so on sequels. Upcoming movie sequels on this list are ones to watch out for, however, fans may be disappointed since some of them changed the original cast (which is not a good idea). But, just wait and see.. maybe the new cast will be better.. or worst.. who knows.

  1. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (2008) - sneak peek
  2. Arthur and the Vengeance of Maltazard (2009)
  3. Scary Movie 5 (2008)
  4. Saw V (2008)
  5. Final Destination 4 (2009)
  6. Fast and the Furious (2009)

30 Days of Night

I just finished watching the movie 30 days of night. I was unable to see this movie on the cinema since I wasn't interested on another "vampire" movie. But I take back my word, since I liked the movie, especially the bloody scenes (I like the effects, not the blood thing.).

Hope that another vampire movie would come out this year, with a very good twist, and a good story. Actually, I'm getting tired of watching vampire movies, since the story is just the same, like: the vampires came to kill people, there's a hero who would kill the vampire, there's a love story, and the end. I am looking for a more different vampire movie, more exciting, more action, more eating and killing (???).

But, to score this movie, I will give it a thumbs up (especially on the effects).
